Sanatorium Buildings Converted into Residential Development in the Grounds of Campbell College

This was a strange one to work on because in this case the buildings weren't protected, but the trees around them were. This gave us a very tight area in which to work. We decided that, because of their uniqueness, we would keep the buildings.

This of course, made life difficult for us in other ways in that we always had to work within their footprint.

We opted for a series of modern extensions rather than attempting to mimic the brick of the old infirmary, the matron's house and the other buildings that came attached to the site they are transforming.
