Recently Completed Buckinghamshire Home

The client's dream was to create a luxurious and spacious home blending traditional design with contemporary uniqueness. They valued privacy and functionality, requesting that the living spaces have a direct connection to the outdoors. The home needed to be luxurious while providing a warm and welcoming environment for family living and entertaining guests.

The house features five bedrooms in the main structure, with generous spaces catering to the family's needs. Essentials include open-plan kitchen living spaces with floor-to-ceiling doors offering views of the luscious garden and seamless access to outdoor seating areas and the pool. The client prioritized landscaping to create a stunning outdoor oasis with landscaped gardens, covered seating, and a pool.

Complementing the luxurious design, the new build incorporates an extension over the garage, adding another bedroom, living space, and kitchen—perfect for accommodating visiting guests. The existing dwelling on the site was demolished to make way for a more sustainable new build.

The new design complies with local council requirements as the site is within a designated ‘Residential Area of Exceptional Character.’ The development proposal respects the character and appearance of the surrounding area, ensuring the dwelling remains similar in size and frontage to others nearby. Retaining most of the existing boundary trees and hedges provides privacy by acting as a screen for the ground floor glazing, preventing overlooking from neighbouring properties and the road. Additional planting enhances privacy and improves the property's landscape.
